Underage Rugby On Saturday morning 17/10/09 Edenderry’s under 17’s took the long trip to Boyne RFC in the third round of the Leinster League.
The fog burned off to reveal a bright warm day and Edenderry were keen to keep their winning streak going.
Both sides looked evenly matched for a while, then Edenderry breached the Boyne defence with great pressure from the Edenderry forwards. The first try of the game came to Edenderry and was followed by three more, two of which were converted by the boot of Peter O’ Neill, With tries from Alessio Tramontozzi, Earl Curry & Shane Cronin the game resulted in Edenderry’s third win of the league 24 – 0. Man of the Match was captain Alessio Tramontozzi and most improved player of the week was Jamie Quinn.
