Edenderry RFC U12s in the RDS
Edenderry U12s enjoyed their first match of the season as they played DLSP in the RDS at half time in the Leinster v Dragons match last Friday night. In what was a great free flowing game.
Edenderry were unlucky to come out the wrong side with a narrow defeat. From the first whistle you could see Edenderry didnt suffer any stage fright on Leinsters home turf. They ran the ball and put together some good runs and some fine rucking. This was a great effort for the first game of the season and it is great for the clubs future to see a lot of last years U12s and U10s present on the team. Not only that but after getting home past 11pm on the Friday night, twenty one U12s were able to make it again to training at 11am Saturday morning.
This season looks bright for these young players and with the new experienced coaches on board this year it surely will be an enjoyable one. Well done to coaches Harry Hill, Liam Holt, John O Donnell and Loman Byrne and to the team, A Mangan, A Stones, H Slattery, J Geraghty, L O'Reilly, R Gill, R Coffey, S Bannon, S Kavanagh, C o'Neill, J Leddin, C Murphy, L O Neill, S O Grady and S Finn.
