Edenderry R.F.C. was founded in 1951 and is located 2 miles out of town on the Dublin side of Edenderry. “Coolavacoose” has been our home for the majority of that time.
The club fields 3 adult teams from J1 to J3, and under age teams from 19’s down to Under 13’s.
We have a large mini’s section which covers from under 8’s to under 12’s.
Over the years the club has been successful in winning 2 Provincial Town’s Cup titles, an Anderson Cup and the Provincial J3 Leinster League. The club has numerous area titles at adult level. The club has also been honoured to have several representatives on the Leinster Junior Team.
At underage level the club has produced 3 Irish youth Internationals,
many Leinster Youth players, and won various Midland area and Leinster titles.
The club provides our local area with a facility second to none, and continues to strive and bring the best from all our teams in playing and promoting the game of Rugby Union.
