Edenderry second XV travelled away to Enniscorthy on Saturday last and suffered a defeat by thirty odd points to a rejuvinated Enniscorty team in what was a lack lustre performance by the away side. Edenderry were down by 22 points within twenty minutes with a poor display in the lineout and some very poor missed tackles. The team did get back into the game in the second half and added a try from man of the match Wilie Crampton which was converted but all in all the team lacked a bit of bite up front and with the line out losing six of their own throw ins in the first half alone it was always going to be an unhill battle.
The team again showed a lot of spirit and did not let the heads drop but they only seemed to get going late in the game and this was thier undoing as they had left themselves with far to much to do.
The seconds have lost two on the trot now, after a promising start to the season, and they will hope to get thier season back on track when they play Cill Dara at home on the 1st of November.
